My New York legal practice was established in 2004 and is concentrated on Russian Business Law, Russian Civil Law, some aspects of Private International Law, Contract Law, Investments abroad, International Litigation and Arbitration in the EU countries, Russia, and other countries of the former USSR. I assist in setting up companies or just starting businesses in the EU countries and its full supporting on the ground. My practice in Moscow Law firm "Besedin Avakov Tarasov & partners", 1995 - 2005, was mostly focused on Russian Commercial Law, Private International law, Domestic and International litigation and arbitration. Consulting the U.S. and European investors on equity acquisition in Russia, taxation and profit repatriation. Domestic and international business contracts and other transactions, etc. My law firm was listed by the U.S. Embassy and its Trade section as the recommended legal advisor for the U.S. customers in Russia. I advised the World Bank on legal issues related to their annual reports "Doing Business".
