About Desiree Washington

Desiree T. Washington, owner of Washington Law Firm, is a seasoned attorney with a focus on complex business litigation, business transactions, employment law, entertainment law, real estate transactions and real estate litigation. She earned her B.A. in Medieval and Early Modern History from the University of Chicago, followed by her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, with a focus on jurisprudence and civil rights law. Desiree brings an extensive legal background to her practice. Before founding Washington Law Firm, Desiree served as a prosecutor for the State Bar of California and worked as a litigator representing high-profile clients, including Lloyds of London, CNA, Genentech, Nokia, and Netflix. In addition to her litigation work, she has developed a robust business transactions practice, advising clients in the entertainment industry—such as National Lampoon and NGTV—on business formation, negotiations, and deal structuring. Known for her strategic approach and broad legal expertise, Desiree continues to serve a wide array of clients with dedication and insight.
