Rashid joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2023, where he concentrates his legal practice on cases concerning catastrophic personal injury, medical negligence and wrongful death. He has been involved in medical malpractice cases focused on misdiagnosis, surgical errors, birth injuries, emergency room errors and strokes. Throughout his time with the firm, he has recovered more than $100 million on behalf of his clients. In his first trial with the firm, Mr. Rashid obtained a $32.7 million jury verdict on behalf of a man who had to undergo a foot amputation due to a delayed diagnosis of a blood clot. The verdict is the highest Illinois verdict reported to the Illinois Jury Verdict Reporter for loss of one leg or foot. Mr. Rashid holds memberships in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. He has authored several articles that were published in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s “Trial Journal” and “Trial” – the official magazine of the American Association of Justice. He has been an invited lecturer on the topic of medical malpractice and trial advocacy at the University of Notre Dame Law School and the United Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In 2023, Mr. Rashid presented Medical Grand Rounds to the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Mr. Rashid has also appeared on numerous podcasts including “The Results Podcast,” the case series podcast put on by “Trial Lawyers University,” and our very own podcast “Beating Goliath.” In his free time, Mr. Rashid enjoys spending time with his three young children and his wife. He is also an avid reader and sports fan.
