About David Haney

David Haney received his juris doctorate from Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville, where he was Executive Editor of the University of Louisville Law Review, competed on the National Tax Moot Court team, and completed a student clerkship with the Honorable Chief Justice Joseph E. Lambert, Kentucky Supreme Court. He has practiced law at civil defense firms in Louisville for most of his career. He previously managed litigation throughout the U.S. as a claims consultant for a large professional liability carrier. He is a graduate of Transylvania University, cum laude, with a double major in business administration and Spanish language and literature. While attending college, he had the opportunity to study Spanish business in Segovia, Spain, where he also completed an internship with a local real estate company. In 2023, David was named to the honor of Super Lawyers for Kentucky. David was named to the 2017 Forty Under 40 list of honorees by Louisville Business First. He again received a Forty Under 40 recognition in 2023 for the South Central Kentucky Region. He has served as President of the Young Professionals of Louisville and is a past board member of Greater Louisville Inc. (the Louisville Chamber of Commerce) and Leadership Louisville Center.
