About David French

From a young age, I was driven by a deep sense of justice and fair play, which naturally drew me towards a career in employment law, even before I fully understood what that entailed. I recognize the significant role employment plays in most people's lives and the often unbalanced dynamics between employers and employees. My passion lies in rectifying this imbalance by fervently advocating for employees' rights under the law. I completed my undergraduate studies in history at the University of North Georgia and briefly enjoyed working in the museum field. However, my unwavering desire to actively pursue justice for others steered me towards a legal career. I started as a paralegal and later obtained my Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University. During my time in law school, I regularly volunteered at the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Housing Court Assistance Center, where I assisted tenants in asserting their rights and mitigating the personal impacts of eviction proceedings. In my leisure time, I cherish moments spent with my family, enjoy walks with my Australian Shepherd, and share my passion for history by volunteering at various historic sites. I also humorously hope that watching the last 10 minutes of “Taylor Bowl” (2024) will suffice to sustain me in sports conversations for at least the next decade.
