About Darryl Pratt

With over twenty-eight years of experience as a dual-licensed Attorney and Certified Public Accountant, I am licensed in both the State of Texas and the State of Oklahoma. This combination of legal and financial insight allows me to offer clients a well-rounded perspective on a variety of legal matters. My practice primarily focuses on business representation, where I work closely with business owners and boards on matters such as entity formation, annual and special meetings, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and serving as outside general business counsel. I also maintain a niche practice dedicated to serving physicians, their families, and employees. Additionally, a significant portion of my work involves estate planning and probate services tailored to business owners, their families, employees, and associates. I have been an active member of numerous professional organizations throughout my career, including local bar associations, the State Bar of Texas, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association of Attorneys-CPAs, the North Texas and Dallas Estate Planning Councils, the National Council for Planned Giving, the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. I am also proud to be a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. I am admitted to practice law before all Texas courts by the Texas Supreme Court, as well as in the State of Oklahoma. Additionally, I am authorized to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Tax Court. I have been honored as a Texas Super Lawyer and Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines. Furthermore, I am an accredited attorney for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
