About Daniel Wernert

Daniel is the owner of Wernert Law LLC. His firm serves Butler County and the surrounding areas. He handles Estate Planning, Probate cases, and Civil Litigation, as well as other types of law on a case-by-case basis. Daniel graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel in 2007 and received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University in 2011. He received his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2015, where he graduated with Certificates of Excellence in Tax and Estate Planning. While at Washburn Law Daniel volunteered at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, helping obtain tax credits and deductions for families who need a tax break. Daniel worked throughout law school, with his first experience at the Kansas Corporation Commission’s Oil and Gas Conservation Division. He also worked at H & R Block’s Tax Institute, answering complex tax questions for individual filers. After that he worked as an intern at Anderson & Byrd where he handled business formation, real estate transactions, eminent domain, and estate planning cases. After law school Daniel joined a Wichita-based personal injury firm, where he continued to build upon his experience as a civil litigator. Daniel is an active volunteer in United Way and the El Dorado Community Foundation.
