I am the founder and lead attorney at True North Law, P.A., a family law firm based in Miami, dedicated to serving clients across Miami-Dade and Broward counties. My areas of practice include paternity, divorce, child support, and related family law matters. I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in Family Law. Having lived in Miami-Dade and Broward counties for many years, I pursued my Bachelor of Arts degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, graduating in 2011. I then earned my law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014. During my time in law school, I had the opportunity to serve as a Law Clerk for a judge on the Eleventh Judicial Court of Florida in Miami. I am also fluent in Spanish, which assists me in serving a broader community. My legal career has always been centered around family law. Before I started my private practice, I worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Program in Broward County, where I litigated on behalf of the Florida Department of Revenue. Additionally, I served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, focusing on Child Support Enforcement. I have spent a significant portion of my career in courtrooms, skillfully handling contested marital and family law cases. However, I am also skilled in resolving disputes outside of court. At True North Law, P.A., my work includes not only litigation but also mediation in divorce and family law, along with separation planning and consulting before divorce proceedings begin. When I am not working, I cherish the time spent with my wife, our two young sons, and our cats.
