About D. Mackall

I am a partner and personal injury attorney serving clients in Vermont and New Hampshire. My commitment lies in delivering essential legal services to my clients and contributing to the well-being of the community. Personal injury claims can be intricate, but they play a crucial role in ensuring justice and accountability. By focusing solely on this area of law, I have gained the experience and understanding necessary to advocate effectively for my clients. I began practicing law in 1986 and am admitted to several bar associations, including: - Ohio and United States District Courts – 1986 - Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio – 1986 - Texas and United States District Courts, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas – 1989 - Vermont – 1999 - United States District Court of Vermont – 2000 If you have suffered a serious injury, I encourage you to reach out to our Vermont personal injury team at (802) 300-3112. At Shillen Mackall Seldon & Spicer, we offer free initial consultations and work on a contingency fee basis. I was born in East Palestine, Ohio, and earned my Bachelor of Arts from Denison University in 1976. I later obtained my Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1985. During my time in law school, I served on the University of Cincinnati Law Review and worked as a law clerk in the extern program for the Hon. Carl B. Rubin, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. In 1984, I authored an article titled “Balancing Section 3 of the United States Arbitration Act and Section 1471 of the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978: A Bankruptcy Judge’s Exercise of Sound Discretion,” which was published in the University of Cincinnati Law Review. West Publishing Company recognized this as a “significant student article” and included it in its Westlaw database. I am also a co-author of “Securities Litigation Against Third Parties: Pre-Central Bank Aiders and Abettors.”
