About Collin McKean
I represent individuals and small business owners in Oregon and SW Washington. I specialize in complex and business related dissolution actions. My cases are typically in Washington, Multnomah or Clackamas Counties in Oregon and Clark, Cowlitz or Skamania Counties in Washington. I also handle cases other counties throughout Oregon and Washington, including Clatsop County, Lane County, Linn County, Marion County, Columbia County, and Grant County. Each county has different local rules that apply to family law cases. I am committed to making sure that I keep up to date on changes to rules of practice for each county I appear in. Prior to practicing law I worked in the accounting field and I find this experience very helpful in understanding business assets and documentation. I use this knowledge to capture true income from business interests, to pursue appropriate valuation of business interests, and to assess value from related trust holdings. I help my clients navigate each step of their case towards the best possible outcome for them and their family. Each case is unique and the outcome is dependent on making prudent choices while seeking creative solutions to each complex legal dispute facing my clients. With proper advice each client has the ability to pursue the result they define as appropriate for their family.
