About Christopher Nichols

I joined McGowan & Associates in September 2007 after developing a successful solo practice with a focus on real estate transactions. I bring over two decades of experience in representing buyers, sellers, and lenders across all aspects of residential real estate transactions. My comprehensive experience and meticulous approach ensure that real estate closings proceed smoothly for my clients. I am also recognized as a dedicated litigator, actively representing a diverse range of clients in state and federal courts for over ten years. Before my successful career in private practice, I served as a prosecutor for the Norwell Police Department and as a Special Assistant District Attorney for Plymouth County. This experience provides me with valuable insights when litigating complex cases. I earned my undergraduate degree from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA, in 1987 and my law degree from the New England School of Law in 1994. I am a lifelong resident of Norwell, Massachusetts, where I live with my wife, and together we have raised our three children.
