About Cassandra Donovan

Cassandra H. P. Donovan is an accomplished Attorney with a comprehensive background in complex civil litigation. She utilizes her diverse professional background and legal experience to represent clients in various phases of the litigation process. Ms. Donovan’s practice currently focuses on business litigation, trusts and estate, family law, civil litigation and insurance defense. Ms. Donovan has an extensive complex litigation background. For more than a decade, Ms. Donovan defended and managed an extensive caseload, on behalf of major corporate clients, in the Upstate New York Asbestos Litigation. Furthermore, Ms. Donovan has successfully defended officers and directors of housing cooperatives/corporations in New York Courts, and before the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Prior to embarking on her law career, Ms. Donovan was the assistant director of commercial revitalization at a local economic development group where she devised and implemented public-private initiatives to foster targeted and sustainable economic development and commercial revitalization ventures in various New York City neighborhoods. Ms. Donovan, an avid reader, also served as a Professional Attaché/Intern at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Ms. Donovan holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. She also received a Master’s degree in Policy Analysis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Politics from New York University, where she began her studies at 16 as a Trustees Scholar. Ms. Donovan is a member of the American Bar Association (“ABA”) and the New York State Bar Association (“NYSBA”), and a former member of the ABA Council of Appellate Lawyers Rules Committee.
