Licensed in Alabama and admitted to all federal district courts in the state, Calle has played a key role on trial teams that secured more than $90 million in verdicts across multiple mass tort cases. Recognized for her skill in the courtroom, she has been named a MidSouth Rising Star by Super Lawyers and ranked among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers from 2018 through 2023. She is also an active member of both the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice, where she continues to advocate for injured individuals nationwide. At Farris, Riley & Pitt, Calle leads the firmโs Mass Torts Department, currently representing clients in high-stakes litigations involving IVC filters, hernia mesh, and contaminated blood pressure medications such as Valsartan. She also serves in a leadership role on the Plaintiff Steering Committee for the Cordis IVC Filter litigation in California, overseeing data management and electronic discovery on behalf of plaintiffs across the country. Originally from Houston, Texas, Calle earned her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama before completing her J.D. at Cumberland School of Law. During law school, she honed her trial skills through Cumberlandโs renowned advocacy program, competing as a finalist in the Haley Trial Competition and serving on the National Negotiation Team. Outside of the courtroom, Calle is active in her community. She volunteers through the Junior League of Birmingham and enjoys traveling and giving back through local service initiatives.
