Recently recognized with a selection to Connecticut’s 2020 Lawyers of Distinction, I am a Partner in our New York City and Stamford Connecticut offices and have more than 20 years of experience as lead trial counsel. I have successfully tried to verdict a wide range of cases including; product liability, wrongful death, personal injury, property loss, toxic tort, employment discrimination, motor vehicle, and construction/labor law. My practice includes defending a variety of complex, high-exposure and high profile cases throughout the United States in diverse areas of law including aviation, product liability, product recalls, premises liability, general liability, asbestos, labor law, municipal, transportation, construction defect, firearms, and lead paint exposure. I routinely defend airport owners and operators, aircraft manufacturers, component manufacturers and all manner of aviation industry vendors in matters ranging from complex and catastrophic fatal aircraft crashes to simple slip and falls on airport property. My asbestos practice involves the defense of one of the world’s most respected motorcycle companies against wrongful death claims arising from alleged asbestos exposure. I have extensive experience handling fire loss cases, most notably a nationally-publicized residential fire that resulted in the deaths of 3 children and their grandparents. I serve as regional counsel defending f premises, product, general, and automobile liability cases filed against the insureds of an A+ rated Insurance Company. I have been a lecturer for the New York State Bar Association and have provided in-house Continuing Legal Education classes for insurance companies.
