About Arja Shah

I found an instant passion for Criminal Defense almost two decades ago and feel blessed to love my work. I have always sought to fight for the underdog, and through my work, get to help people deserving a quality and affordable defense. I was was born in East Amherst, NY and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. After graduation, I spent two years working for one of the nations most respected Criminal Defense firms in Washington DC., learning early on what qualities make a for a effective defense attorney. I graduated with a Law Degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego. I began my legal career working for a large criminal defense firm in their Vehicular Crimes unit. There, I learned from some of the best on how to defend and win against the State. I was given rare training and experience practicing in front of every judge throughout Maricopa County. I took my experience, relationships and knowledge and created the Shah Law Firm PLLC. In total, I have successfully defended well over 2,300 criminal cases in my career. I have received awards for numerous achievements and numerous accolades for my work. However, the thing I am most proud of is my client reviews from former clients who I was able to help.
