About Alexander Schachtel

Alexander is a litigation generalist with experience prosecuting and defending a wide variety of civil actions in state and federal courts across New York and New Jersey. Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Alexander hails from a family of lawyers and brings the collective wisdom of their past legal practice experience to bear for the benefit of his friends and clients. A graduate of Duke University and Seton Hall Law School, Alexander received his early legal training and experience at a premier regional law firm before spending several years as an associate with one of America’s largest firms. Alexander started his own law practice so that he could provide the unparalleled personal attention, dedication and earnest devotion that characterizes his practice to each and every client and case, and better serve the interests of justice in his community. With nearly eight years of his own practice experience under his belt, he has achieved success for clients across a variety of subject matter areas. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, and has been admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey, the New Jersey Bankruptcy Court and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has been recognized as an up and coming “Super Lawyer” in the State of New Jersey in 2020, 2021, and 2022 and achieved one of the top 50 civil verdicts (by monetary value) in the State of New Jersey in 2019.
