About Aaron Ryan

With roots stretching back to poor and proud farmers of South Carolina, Aaron’s values and integrity were carved into stone by people who cultivated their living from the earth. However, as much as his family history and ethos informed his character, it was a two year missionary commitment in rural Mexico as a young adult that would solidify his path toward law school. Working in one of the most impoverished villages among our neighbors to the south, Aaron did not speak a word of Spanish when he arrived, and his hosts did not speak a word of English. Yet, it was under these circumstances that he learned to relinquish all that does not matter in this life, and to embrace those things that do: fairness, compassion, fortitude, and a foundational belief in the dignity of every human being.
